Chemical or Natural? United States legality of cannabis has been tricky lately. Marijuana is illegal under federal law, but in some states are decriminalize and could be used for medical purpose. Cannabis is a plant which has been used for personal pleasure, however; it’s also been an old medicine in some cultures in old centuries. Late study’s shows that marijuana has proven to help people who have cancer, super hyper person, mentality issues and chronic pain. In 2012, cannabis was entirely legalized in Colorado and Washington. The two states point of view that marijuana isn’t more harmful than alcohol or cigarettes. It will increase the tax income and reduce the crimes. The people who are not in favor of cannabis claims that it would fall into the kids hands or increase the danger of secondhand smoke. Nevertheless, United States should legalize marijuana under the control of the federal law to help the economy and reducing the crimes. At first, Marijuana is a medicine that’s been used for centuries. It used to be prescribed to people with chronic pain, alleviating muscle spasms, headache, and improving poor appetite. According to Drug Policy website, "Marijuana has been shown to alleviate symptoms of a huge variety of serious medical conditions including cancer, AIDS, and glaucoma, and is often an effective alternative to synthetic painkillers."
