Should Steroids Be Legal? Men and woman of this world push their body 's to and perhaps past their limits every day. People are stronger, faster and healthier than ever before today, each generation that comes along will live longer and longer than the average expectation of life for the average person. When at the absolute max of ones genetic capabilities,some turn to steroids. Steroids help push the limits of human genetics allowing one to become faster, stronger, and bigger than they ever could naturally. Steroids can have a big downside when it comes to the side effects if taken often or abused, but if it is done in moderation, the side effects are far less if any arise. So if someone could reap the benefits of steroids safely and properly without any side effects or with little side effect, why is there such a debate over if it should be legal or illegal to use? Not many people know exactly what steroids are, how they work, and the side effects. In order to come to a solution to this ongoing debate, everyone needs to become better educated on steroids. So what are steroids? Steroid is short for anabolic steroids which are related to the male sex hormones. Steroids manipulate testosterone and other hormones in the body to promote growth of skeletal muscle and the development of male sexual characteristics in both man and woman.
