The Legalization of Marijuana
Primarily, marijuana should be legalized since it is used for medication, and its legalization could mean better and higher quality health standards. Even though the medical benefits of marijuana can assist patients who suffer from cancer, HIV, Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other severe illnesses, there still continues to be a relevant controversial issue in society today. By not legalizing marijuana it can hinder medical, social and scientific breakthroughs.
Medical marijuana is beneficial, because it can reduce the spread of HIV, it can prevent the spread of cancer, and it can help veterans afflicted with PTSD. Marijuana has healing properties unlike tobacco or alcohol. Marijuana can reduce the spread of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). Marijuana has been used to effectively systems such as chronic pain and weight loss associated with HIV. There are believable reports by people experiencing unending agony and an assortment of perpetual sicknesses such as AIDS (Bestrashniy, Winters, 2015). Medical marijuana has been a large debate for a while in the United States; people that give the idea of medical marijuana foundation have many permissible reasons, things such as help the human body fight against cancer.
