Why should prostitution be legal? Some researchers confirm that prostitution is the most ancient profession, while others argue that having sex for money has existed for a long time. In other countries prostitution has already been legalized, but also in others, it is strongly unacceptable due to cultural and religious believes. “Prostitution violates the right to physical and moral integrity by the alienation of women’s sexuality that is appropriated, debased and reduced to a commodity to be bought and sold.” Many of the people use prostitutes and sell them to men looking to have sexual pleasures for a lot of money. Why would we men want to use our beautiful women to gain money instead of just work in a decent job? Although many people do sell them, women should absolutely not be used in that way, and prostitution should not be legalized because of violating human rights and the risk of spreading mortal infections.
Some argue that legalization of prostitution is the right thing for our country. In my opinion, to sell someone’s own body to earn money is considered to be morally wrong to me. The majority of the people including me think that to put effort and hard work to earn money rather than selling one’s own body to be rich over the night.
